Retirement Living

Our clients, Stuart and Wendy, purchased their large block of land many years ago and built their then family home. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the best build experience the first time around, which made them very unsure moving forward some 20 years later to build a second home on the property that they could retire in.

Tim and Lauren actually met our client Wendy first, as she was their lovely midwife that delivered little Kai. It was from here they built trust, and Wendy could see the integrity of the Kai Konstruct brand. A few years after first meeting Wendy, she contacted the team and was ready to take the plunge and start building their second home on their block – their home to relax and retire in.

Our clients tackled all the design selections and kept a monochromatic palette with small accents of blue. Their paired back style naturally accentuated the gorgeous 3.5 meter raked ceilings, the black metal work features and the cluster of palm trees that greet you from all angles in the living, dinning and kitchen. The homes overall design is small but high on practicality and with easy living in mind.

It was such a pleasure to be asked to build our clients retirement home and to give them a positive build journey in the process.
